Daniel was among the 295 dogs rescued from an inhumane puppy mill by the Humane Society of the United States. The raid was successful in freeing the dogs from their poor breeding conditions.
The rescuers were deeply moved by Daniel’s plight. His front legs were rendered useless due to malnourishment, but that didn’t stop him from crawling towards them as soon as they arrived. The rescuers wasted no time in scooping him up and bringing him into their care. It didn’t take long for Daniel to feel comfortable and nourished once again. Just two weeks later, he amazed everyone by starting to use his front legs once more!
The wonderful team behind Daniel’s recovery has made it possible for him to not only walk but run like a happy dog. This is truly a remarkable moment worth celebrating! Fortunately, Daniel has been welcomed into a loving family in Blue Springs, Missouri. We hope that all puppy mills will be shut down and that dogs like Daniel will find joyful homes.
