While strolling by a scrap yard in Shandong province, a compassionate animal enthusiast came across a lifeless dog. Despite the grim situation, the young man attempted to assist the poor creature. However, it appeared that the dog had passed away for some time already, as its body had become stiff and lifeless.
The boy didn’t want to witness the sorry state of the dog’s body, but he made a compassionate decision to put it to rest. He wanted to bury it in a peaceful spot so that it would not be left lifeless in a deserted area. While searching for a shovel, he was startled by peculiar noises resembling the cries of animals. Curiosity got the better of him, and he started scanning the landfill in the direction of the sounds. To his surprise, the cries were emanating from a box wrapped in cardboard, which was sealed tightly and situated near the dog’s remains.
Upon opening the container, a man stumbled upon a surprise of five adorable puppies. They huddled together in a corner of the box, likely due to the cold or fear. One of the pups stood out from the rest due to its larger size and immediately looked up to assess the situation when the box was opened. However, this pup quickly lowered its head and retreated amongst its siblings upon noticing a stranger nearby.
As the young man gazed at the sweet puppies and their deceased mother lying next to them, he couldn’t help but suspect that the owner had purposely abandoned them. Surveying the desolate scrap yard, devoid of any human presence, the man paradoxically felt happy for the puppies. Although they were no longer in this world, he believed that their mother dog was likely watching over them.
He observed the cardboard box and concluded that it was secure enough to prevent the small dogs from escaping. It was fortunate that a boy stumbled upon their mother in a deserted landfill, who was initially planning to bury her. The young puppies were too weak to cry for help, and if left undiscovered for much longer, they may have perished. As the boy gazed at the lifeless mother dog, he felt a pang of sadness. He realized that the dog’s last act of love was watching over her offspring before departing to the afterlife. Consequently, he buried the stray dog and took the puppies home, pledging to care for them like they were his own.
